About the Powerappathon for Policing


Following on from the successful PowerAppathon for Policing in October 2020, Microsoft, the NEP and Pythagoras are once again joining forces for a day of learning about Power Apps within Policing. This session will explore the challenges, opportunities, applications and considerations of Power Apps within the sector.

You’ll learn about the platform, gain insight into planning your Power Apps and try your hand at building your first Power App under the guidance of our experts, alongside Parm Singh and Tammy Briggs from Microsoft.

The PowerAppathon Lab takes place over Microsoft Teams, which you can join from your Teams app or via your browser. It consists of presentations, demonstrations and a hands-on build activity.

Microsoft Business Applications Lead Parm Singh will introduce the day, outline how Power Apps is placed to enable police forces to speed up and simplify their work, while ensuring security and efficiency. He will be joined by Rhys Willis from the National Enabling Programme who will provide an update on the programme and how NEP are supporting Power Apps.
